Tango is a traditional genre of Argentina and Uruguay, born of cultural fusion between European immigrants (Spanish and Italian, mainly), descendants of African slaves, and natives of the region of the River Musically Plata.2 usually binary (theme and chorus) or ternary (two parts to which is added a trio). In essence, it is an artistic expression of fusion of nature and root distinctly suburban urban ("uncouth"), which responds to the concrete historical process of biological and cultural rioplatense population pre-immigration and mass immigration, mostly European, which completely reconstituted rioplatenses societies, from the last decades of the nineteenth century.
His performance can be accomplished by a variety of instrumental ensembles, the most features guitar quartet, duo guitar and bandoneon, the trio of bandoneon, piano and double bass, as well as orchestra or sextet.
